Woman killed being hit by train in Ctg

A 55-year-old woman was killed after being hit by a train in Chattogram’s Mirsarai upazila today.

Identity of the deceased could not be known yet, reports our Chattogram staff correspondent.

Khorshed Alam, sub-inspector of Sitakunda Government Railway Police, said a speedy train hit the woman while she was walking on the rail tracks in Wood Market area around 10:00am, leaving her dead on the spot.

On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
