Crude bomb found in C’nawabganj polling station

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members recovered an unexploded crude bomb they found in a polling station during the by-elections to Chapainawabganj-3 constituency this morning.

Lt Commander Ruh-fi-Tahmin Toukir, also Chapainawabganj Rab-5 company commander, confirmed the incident.

He said the bomb was recovered from the playground of the Nawabganj Adarsha High School polling centre around 11:00am.

None was arrested in this connection, our local correspondent reports.
