A six-week photography exhibition titled “Bangladesh in Frames” was inaugurated in the heart of Mexico City at the Reforma Avenue on February 7 looking to project culture as well as socio-economic activities of Bangladesh.

This is for the first time a photography exhibition on Bangladesh is taking place in Mexico, jointly organised by the Embassy of Bangladesh in Mexico City in collaboration with the International Affairs of Mexico City and the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Mexico.

A total of 20 photographs of eminent photographers Mustafiz Mamun and Abdul Momin are being displayed in the exhibition projecting landscape, culture as well as socio-economic activities of Bangladesh.

The exhibition showcases an image of our Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, spread out over a crop field which has been recognised as the largest mosaic of its kind by the Guinness World Records.

In addition, there are photographs of the Shaheed Minar and National Martyr’s Memorial in Dhaka including a picture of schoolgirls holding their books on the first day of the year and so on.

The photography exhibition will continue till March 15, 2023.
